Jim's photographic practice is contemplative, in mindful exploration of the unspoken and symbolic. As a spiritual seeker with deep interest in mystical traditions, Jim often searches for images that may carry the viewer to a deeper understanding beyond words. Of course, Jim will say that this is grounded with a healthy appreciation for scenic beauty and natures wonder.

Primarily a self-taught photographer, Jim is thankful for the many educational paths that he has found over the course of 50 plus years. Thru his professional career as a Photo-lithography engineer, he found an added dimension in his photographic journey, while continuing to develop as a photographic artist.

Jim calls the seacoast region of New Hampshire his base camp, and enjoys travel and photographic wandering while hiking, biking, and general rambling about.
